Since training with ATH, Taylor has hit (and exceeded) many of her fitness goals. Taylor, who is also a nutritionist, had already been on a weight-loss journey when she started training with us. As a former athlete, she wanted to incorporate more strength training and athletic-based training to help her meet specific measurement goals for her modeling career. She had also been doing at-home workouts, but wanted an extra push, which ATH provided. Since training with ATH Taylor has:

“Hi, my name is Taylor McAllister. I got started back in January of this year with the Six to Fit program. I was ready to take my health and fitness up a notch when I looked in the mirror and I decided I really wanted to change not only for my health, but my mental health as well.

And so after a couple of months of doing my own thing and adapting new habits, I discovered [ATH] where I got that one-on-one personal training that I really needed that helped me kind of tap into my potential and beforehand getting into it and adapting my new habits and incorporating this as a great asset, I lost over 60 pounds, and I’m happy to be where I’m at today. Over the past couple of years, I’ve kind of been educating and training myself along my own journey where I’ve lost 60 pounds along the way. But ever since I’ve come to [ATH], I really wanted to tap into my athlete ability and take it up a notch.

And I’ve lost 15 pounds just being in here. And I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been. I’m the leanest I’ve ever been. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been. And I’m the most confident. Since joining ATH, I’m really excited to push myself beyond my own limits I never thought possible. I didn’t think when I started my health/fitness journey that I’d be where I’m at today.

 

And they’ve proven to me that I can do that. And not only have I accomplished the goals I’ve already set myself to, but now I get to set goals way beyond that that I never thought I’d have the opportunity to do. I love that I’m getting stronger. I’m more confident. My relationships are better with my spouse and my family because I’m showing up as a person that I feel the best doing.

And I do that coming every single day. And [ATH has] helped educate me on supplements and nutrition and overall just improved my life significantly. What brought me in to ATH was that I was looking for something a little bit more specific. I was doing at-home programs and it was keeping me consistent, but I really wanted to take it up a notch.

So I came in and took my first class with Anthony and I was very lucky to have like a little one-on-one opportunity. And that’s where I learned that this is exactly what I need

I came in because I wanted to hit more specific goals. And with my career with modeling, it was very specific measurements, shapes, sizes, and so I knew that one-on-one was exactly what I needed. I was a little worried or curious/intimidated, if you will, about the class group setting since I didn’t get that in the beginning, but coming in I was pleasantly surprised with not only the age diversity, but just how supportive and how great the community was overall.

In eight weeks of being at ATH, I’ve lost over 15 pounds. I’ve lost around four to five percent body fat and two inches on each of my measurements, which is super important in my career. Never thought I could get here, never thought that what I was doing wasn’t challenging or that it wasn’t good enough.

I thought like, I can do it myself and coming here – it’s definitely proven to me that I needed that one-on-one connection. It could be as simple as just bonding with the community and the trainers here that’s really taken me up the next notch.

 

The best advice I can give anyone to start their own fitness journey – [from] someone who started and quit probably a dozen times and I’m finally where I’m at today – I would say to start small, not to have any big crazy goals, but just start small and do something consistent that you can stick with, whether that’s laying out your workout clothes every morning so that you get your workout in, drinking more water, going for a walk with a friend, start small, build up that confidence and those habits and you’ll get there in no time.

The reason I’m such a big fan of ATH is every time I come in I know it’s going to be a good workout and I know that I can just show up, turn my brain off and know that I’m going to get the results that I’m looking for. Not to mention once again, the community is such a big part of it.
