What happens in the Men’s Shed and why you should join. We visit Chelsea Men’s Shed Open Day

Have you heard of the Men’s Shed? A lot of Australians would have heard of it, but may not know what actually happens at a Men’s shed. We learn about this valuable community service chatting to Sandy Antonuccio at the Chelsea Men’s Shed.

If you are interested in:
• Woodworking
• Workshop facilities for the home maintenance project.
• A place to chat and tell stories over a cuppa
• Socialise with other men with similar interests and backgrounds
The Mens Sheds are primarily involved in offering support for men that are:
• Long term and short term unemployed,
• Recently retrenched, or forced into early retirement,
• Retirees seeking social interaction.
• Men of all ages who are facing social isolation, depression, mental and physical ailments as a result of the changes to their lives.
